Sowing/Flowering Info: Sow in-situ from April to June, or from March under cloches. Sow sparingly in shallow drills of moist, well-drained soil. Water well as seeds germinate, but not excessively. Gradually thin seedlings 5cm apart as they become large enough to handle. Keep area weed free. Do not sow into freshly-manured soil. |

Aftercare: Carrots can be earthed up to prevent green crowns forming. Netting may be required to keep away pests. Harvested roots can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 4 months. |
