- Further Information
Common Name: | Lupin |
Plant Type: | Perennial |
Height: | 90cm |
Spread: | 60cm |
Growing Info: Soak seeds for 48 hours before sowing under cover. March-May, sow seeds 5-10mm deep. Seeds need temperature 18-20°C to germinate, so using a propagator or sealing sown seeds in a polythene bag on a windowsill will help. Prick out seedlings to individual pots when large enough. Harden off and transplant to final position 50cm apart, after risk of frost has passed. Can also be sown Sep-Oct under cover for flowers the following year. |
|
Aftercare: Cut back faded flower spikes. Water and feed to get a second flush of blooms. |
