Growing Info: Sow inside Feb-Mar in good seed compost . At 10-15 C germination should take upto 2 weeks. Once germinated grow on in cooler conditions and acclimatise prior to planting out after risk of frost. Alternatively Sow thinly outside Mar-Jul roughly 10-15mm apart, 6mm deep in drills 15cm apart in well drained fertile soil. Additional thinning should not be required for salad onions. Best grown in full sun and kept well-watered. |
