- Further Information
|Plant Type:||Hardy Annual|
| Sowing/Flowering Info:
Best sown directly where they are to flower as zinnias do not like to be disturbed. April-May, sow 0.5cm deep into pre-watered, finely raked soil, in rows 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 25cm apart and keep well-watered. Sow indoors March-April. Acclimatise gradually before planting out when risk of frost has passed.
Water until established and keep cutting or deadheading to encourage more blooms. May require staking in exposed areas.
