Native flower which is loved by bees and pollinators alike. Easy to grow, the whole plant is covered in grey hair which once was used for lamp wicks. It looks great in a gravel garden or at the back of a border. It will self seed so make sure to move any seedlings early and transplant to a suitable position.

Growing Info:
Sow inside in February – March in good seed compost in deep pots or root trainers. Keep at 15-18 C and keep moist during germination. After seedlings appear water less and transplant into pots when large enough to handle. Plant out 60 cm apart once all risk of frost has passed. Alternatively sow where they are to grow in July to August.
Aftercare:
Watch out for Mullein Moths, they are large caterpillars with black and yellow spots.
