| Growing Info: Sow inside Jan-Mar in trays of good quality seed compost. Cover with a thin layer of vermiculite or seived compost. Once germinated, prick out the seedlings and plant them into individual pots when large enough to handle. Move the plants into a coldframe or unheated greenhouse to acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out into their final position. Plant 15cm apart in well draining fertile soil. Alternatively sow outside from late Mar-Apr, directly into well-prepared soil. |
|
| Aftercare: When grown from seed the chance of disease is greatly reduced. |
