  • Further Information
Common Name: Clary sage / Annual Sage
Plant Type: Hardy Annual
Height: 70cm
Spread: 30cm
Sowing/Flowering Info:
Sow where they are to flower March-May. Rake soil to a fine tilth and sow 3mm deep in rills 30cm apart. When seedlings appear and are large enough to handle, thin out to 15cm apart. Plants can handle a light frost, but if heavy frosts are predicted, protect with cloches or garden fleecing.
Aftercare:
Water established plants thoroughly when soil is dry, rather than little and often.
