Rudbeckia variety with bright-yellow petals and distinct olive-green flower centres. A short-lived perennial, often grown as an annual. With stems branching from the base, it makes for an excellent cut flower or sturdy border plant, producing a mass of flowers from mid-Summer to early-Autumn.

Growing Info:
Sow under glass Feb-April in moist seed compost. Cover with a thin cover of compost or vermiculite, as light is required for germination. Germinates at temperatures of +20°C. If no germination occurs after 4 weeks, move to temperatures -4°C-+4°C for 4 weeks to stratify, and then bring it back to the warmth. When large enough to handle, transplant and acclimatise, before planting out 45cm apart when all risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
Deadhead to avoid self-seeding. Apply mulch to prevent the soil from drying out.
