A fantastic Sunflower to grow with children, along fences or against walls. It's one of the tallest varieties available and it produces an enormous amount of seeds which is great for birds during Autumn and Winter. It's a classic yellow ring of petals around a rich brown centre.

Growing Info:
Mar-May sow outdoors, 2 seeds together, 1.5cm deep, every 45cm in pre-watered, finely prepared soil. When seedlings appear, remove the weakest. Keep well-watered until established and protect seedlings from late frosts. Alternatively, sow indoors Mar-May and grow on in a greenhouse or coldframe. Plant out when risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
Seedlings sown outdoors may need protection from slugs and birds. Once flowers have faded, the dead heads can be left on the stems to feed local birds.
