A magnet for bees and other pollinators. Covered in blue, globe-shaped flowerheads, this tall eye-catching perennial of Mediterranean origins loves full sun and free draining soil. Works well with silver-blue colour themes or used to contrast with oranges and reds. Can be used as cut flowers or hung upside down to dry in warm dark place, for use in winter arrangements.

Growing Info:
Sow undercover from Feb-May, or Aug-November for plants the following year. Sow seeds to a depth of 2mm in a deep seed tray or modules into well drained seed compost. Sow 30mm apart. Keep warm for germination. Prick out seedlings and grow on in individual pots. Spring-sown plants can be planted out after frosts have passed, Autumn-sown plants should be grown on and planted out the following year.
Aftercare:
After first flush of flowers, cut back flower stems to base of plant to encourage more late-season flowers.
