An old-fashioned branching variety, these sturdy plants produce abundant purple flowers from June to September and can keep going to the first hard frost. They make great cottage garden flowers and are good cut flowers with a good vase life. Cut young they should last over a week in fresh water. Caution: All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested
