Latin Name: Phaseolus vulgaris
Height: 2m
Spread: 45cm
Growing Info:
Very easy to grow. Start seeds in modules under cover in Apr-May, or sow directly outside in the ground or large pots from late May-Jul. Seeds should be sown 40-50mm deep and watered thoroughly. Space 30cm apart. Acclimatise plants grown under cover before planting out. Plants are vigorous climbers so will require support.
Aftercare:
Drench plants in the ground twice a week, may require additional watering if grown in pots. Picking beans regularly will encourage the plants to produce more.
