Growing Info: Soak the seeds prior to sowing in Mar-Apr, sow 25mm deep and germinate at 20C. Germination can be slow and takes up to 6 weeks. Keep under cover until the risk of frost has passed and plant out in a well drained position, spacing 30cm apart. Feed and water well, spears should not be harvested until the third year. |
