A favourite flower for garden designer Gertrude Jekyll, with long flowering masses of white flower which are a good filler for the middle of the border works well in drifts It's drought tolerant and great for both using as a fresh cut flower and for drying.

Growing Info:
Sow inside Feb-Jun or Sep-Oct in good seed compost. Do not cover as the seeds need light to germinate. Water from the bottom and keep between 18-22°C for germination, which should take 2-3 weeks. Pot on when the true leaves appear and acclimatise before planting out. Alternatively sow outside in a well-prepared seed bed from Apr-Jun.
Aftercare:
Divide plants every 3 years to rejuvenate. Cut back flowers damaged by rain and wait for a second flush.
