Blue Flax is a small plant with delicate blue flowers. Early sowings will flower in the first year. Beautiful grown in mass, where the fine foliage and flowers will add a sense of movement. Ideally plant in full sun but it will tolerate semi-shade. Grows well in containers too.

Growing Info:
Sow outside directly where it is to grow March-May, as they do not like root disturbance. Prepare a well-drained seed bed, scatter the seeds and add a light covering of soil. Keep moist for successful germination. Thin the seedlings to 40 cm apart.
Aftercare:
Low maintenance once established. Do not fertilise as this will reduce flowering. Deadhead spent flowers and cut back to encourage fresh growth.
