Growing Info:
March-May, Sow outdoors, 2 seeds together, 1.5cm deep, every 45cm in pre-watered, finely prepared soil. When seedlings appear, remove the weaker one. Keep well-watered until established and protect seedlings from late frosts. Alternatively, sow indoors March-May and grow on in a cold frame or greenhouse, planting out when risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
Seedlings sown outdoors may need protection from garden pests, such as slugs. Once flowers have finished, the dead flowerheads can be left on the stems to feed local birds.
