This lovely, golden-yellow flowered Avens will add vibrancy to a border or container, and once established, will begin flowering as early as May and keep going throughout the summer if kept well-watered. The perky, long-stemmed flowers are a magnet for bees.

Growing Info: Sow inside Feb-April in moist seed compost. Cover seeds lightly with soil or vermiculite and store at 18-22°C until germination occurs, which can take a few weeks and be inconsistent. Transplant seedlings into small pots when large enough. Harden off seedlings before planting out after frosts have passed, 50cm apart.
Aftercare: Likes to grow in full sun to partial shade in fertile soil. Keep well-watered and deadhead for prolonged flowering. Every few years, lift and divide large clumps in spring or autumn.

I recently purchased a selection of seeds from Stocks and Green. They arrived after a few days and were well packaged. I haven’t used the white pen as yet and would rather review when it’s been used and outside for a few weeks. My other pens though permenant are not !! Love the size of the labels.
