- Further Information
Common Name: | Spider Flower |
Plant Type: | Half-Hardy Annual |
Height: | 1.5m |
Spread: | 45cm |
Sowing/Flowering Info: Jan-Apr, sow inside in seed compost, ideally in modules or pots as they do not like root disturbance. Sow finely and cover with thin layer of vermiculite. Keep at 18-22°C and do not cover as light is required for germination. Acclimatise before planting out 30cm apart, when risk of frost has passed. When plants reach 15cm, pinch out the growing tips for bushy growth. |
|
Aftercare: Cut flowers and deadhead regularly as flowers fade to prolong the flowering period. Tall flowers may require staking if growing in an exposed area. |
