| Growing Info: Sow directly March-July. Sow thinly in finely raked soils removed of stones, 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Water with a fine spray so seeds do not get washed away. Thin seedlings to 10cm spacing. Carrots do not like freshly manured soil, so prepare beds autumn before. Water well until established. |

| Aftercare: Protect early sowings with a cloche during cold spells. Protect from carrot fly with garden fleecing. Harvest smaller carrots over course of season, leaving others more room to grow. Store in dry sand. |
