Strong architectural white umbel flowers. Once the flowers fade, the seedheads close in on themselves to create an attractive birds-nest shape. When left through the winter, they are beautiful covered with frost. The flowers attract a wide range of insects such as bees, beetles and hoverflies. Also makes a great cut flower.

Growing Info:
Best sown direct outdoors where they are to flower from Oct-April. Rake into a depth of ~1cm. Thin to 10-15cm apart once germinated. Requires some exposure to cold temperatures to germinate. Although a biennial, it can flower in its first year. Seedlings look a little like grass but develop quickly and require very little attention.
Aftercare:
By leaving some seed heads through winter for structure, they should re-seed themselves for subsequent years.
