Catananche caerulea - Seeds

Catananche caerulea - Seeds

Often referred to as Cupid's dart, the cornflower-like blooms bring soothing tones of lavender-blue to sunny borders. This free-flowering perennial develops hummocks of grass-like foliage, and wiry, leafless stems topped with papery, pale-blue flowers with a deep-purple eye. Sturdy stems make these a good flower for a cutting garden.
