A cottage garden favourite, these-easy-to grow Cornflowers are loved by bees and butterflies alike. Flowering from early spring through to autumn. Good cutting flowers, but pick early morning for best results. Combines well with Ammi majus, Cosmos and Larkspur.

Growing Info:
March-May, sow in-situ outdoors in drills just 3-4mm deep. Alternatively, sow in pots or seed trays on the surface of moist seed compost and cover very finely with compost or vermiculite. Transplant or thin out to 15cm between plants. Can be sown under cover August-Sep and overwintered for stronger plants the following spring.
Aftercare:
Cut flowers for taking in the house and deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season. No need for feeding as this will encourage foliage rather than flowers.
