A very elegant climbing plant, usually treated as an annual. Will produce masses of purple, hanging bell-shaped flowers from July-October. It will climb up a trellis or arch, or can be grown as a trailing plant in a hanging basket or container. Perfect for a sunny, sheltered position or the conservatory.

Growing Info:
Sow under glass Jan-March, 15mm deep in good, seed compost, and place on warm windowsill, or propagate at 15-21°C. Germination can be slow and take up to 45 days. When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings to individual pots for growing on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise before planting out in a sheltered area when risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
When planted in final growing location, ensure plant has either support to climb up, or place in container so that foliage and flowers can trail.
