  • Further Information
Common Name: African Marigold
Plant Type: Half-Hardy Annual
Height: 30cm
Spread: 20cm
Growing Info:
Sow inside from Feb-April on the surface of good seed compost. Only cover seeds with dusting of compost as light aids the germination process. Keep in propagator or a warm window sill at 20-24°C. Grow on in cooler conditions and pot up when large enough to handle before gradually acclimatising them and planting out 30cm apart, ideally in a sunny position once risk of frost has passed. Or sow where they are to flower in May-June.
Aftercare:
Pick flowers regularly and remove any deadheads to extend flowering season, no need for feeding.
